Rock and Roll

Katie is becoming quite the "little mover" - although she is not officially crawling yet. She now gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. She gathers up the momentum to move...but doesn't quite go anywhere.  However, she has discovered that she can get around by rolling. If she sees something she wants she will roll over as many times as it takes for her to get to it. Given that she's been rolling over since she was 2 months old, she has become quite resourceful at getting around this way!

 And she's down.  This is now turning into a nap!

 

We know one thing for sure - Katie is a very happy girl who will be on the move (for real) soon! Here are some shots of our weekend. We had a ball playing, eating, shopping and just hanging out!

6 Months of Fun!

On October 6th our Little Tater Tot reached the six month milestone! We can't believe how fast she is growing!  Katie has become a VERY active little girl over the past few weeks. When she's on her tummy she "travels" and can get quite far that way. She's not officially crawling but she has definitely figured out how to get around!

Katie spent this weekend in Boulder with Momma, Nana Kat and Poppy Paul. Dad was in Michigan for the big football game. Katie had an absolute blast shopping, eating, playing and hanging out with her Colorado family...and so did her doggies Daisy and Eddie!

Katie enjoys watching everything. She absolutely loves looking at all the stuff and people when we shop and she also loves watching Mom and Nana Kat cook.

 Although she can't eat the chicken soup Nana Kat was cooking in this picture...she is continuing to enjoy being introduced to new fruits and vegetables.

 

 Katie and Momma had a wonderful time just relaxing all weekend. Maybe someday we will go with Dad to the Michigan game but for now we are happy staying home with Nana Kat and Poppy Paul!
