Christmas 2013

I am a bit behind but I still wanted to post our Christmas blog. We had another great one. The kids especially enjoyed decorating the tree this year. They did a great job!
We also had fun having our friends over for a little party. Katie and Ashlynn have been best friends since they were 13 months old!
The Dads and Robby enjoyed playing Guitar Hero. They played and Robby danced! LOL!
Katie and Robby also experienced their first visit to Santa this year. Robby didn't make it onto his lap but enjoyed the scenery.  Katie was excited, but very shy!
We spent Christmas at Nana and Poppy's house again this year. Katie wanted to be sure to write a note to Santa to leave along with his milk and cookies!
In the morning, Katie was super excited to see the stuffed stockings!
They had no problem jumping right in and opening it all!
Katie loved her sticker earrings....and Robby was thrilled to receive an assortment of trucks!
Their new scooters helps to get out all that energy!
The best part was spending time with Nana and Poppy. Robby was very focused when he was playing at the sink with Poppy!
Katie liked hanging in the kitchen with Nana!
She's always on the lookout for something sweet, so she really liked the hot chocolate Nana served!
Of course, she got lots of hugs from Poppy too!
Robby loves when he gets bananas from Nana. He always stuffs the entire thing in his mouth at once!
Another wonderful Christmas!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving 2013 with our Michigan Family. It was Robby's first time traveling via plane. He loved it of course!
Katie and Robby wasted no time cuddling up and getting silly with Grandma and Grandpa as soon as we arrived!
The next morning we all got up and went to visit Great Grandma Pat and Great Grandpa Bob.  The best part of their house is the tire swing hanging from an enormous tree on their property. They each took many turns in the swing as you can imagine!
They had lots of fun exploring their property. Dad and Robby admired all of the huge trees, of course!
They loved exploring the old barn and the tractor!
It was so special that Robby got to hang out with his namesake (Great Grandpa Bob)!
The next day was Thanksgiving and they enjoyed getting all gussied up before meeting their huge extended family.

It was so much fun having Thanksgiving with so much family!

Another major highlight of the visit was spending time with their Aunt Danni and Aunt Spencer!

Uncle Dave even played dolls with Katie!  :)
What a wonderful trip!

We cannot wait to go back!
