The past week has been very busy for the Peters Family because we've had family in town. Grandma Marti and Grandpa Joe came first. Katie and Robby stayed home from school and played with them for 4 days. They had a ball!
Robby was very excited to meet his Grandma and Grandpa!
Katie enjoyed showing them her jumpy castle. Everyone ended up getting in!
On Saturday, we all went to the Denver Aquarium for the first time. It was fantastic. Katie was raring to go!
Unfortunately, right as we entered the exhibits we discovered that Robby had had a blow-out and Mom screwed up and didn't pack an extra outfit. Grandma saved the day by purchasing him something at the aquarium store. Here he is in a pink t-shirt for Katie. He looks like a little girl! Too funny!
Once we made it inside, Katie was in awe. She loved seeing all the fish and sea creatures!
They even had sharks!
When we asked Katie what her favorite thing at the aquarium was, she said the tiger. Ironically, they had tigers even though they are not sea creatures!
After the aquarium we had one final dinner over at Nana and Poppy's house. Aunt Kristen, Uncle Owen and cousins Parker and Cooper had arrived for family time part 2 (stay tuned). All in all, it was a super fun day!
We will all miss Grandma and Grandpa terribly....we can't wait for their next visit!
